Description

Sensational: For the first time, this live recording of the great Louis Armstrong is being released, who recorded it in top broadcast quality for the SWR in 1959 with an All-Star ensemble. This outstanding discovery from the SWR archive is a celebration for jazz fans of all genres. The "All Stars" were the formation with which "Satchmo" celebrated his international breakthrough. The 1959 concert document from Stuttgart shows Louis Armstrong at the zenith of his mastery! And as if that were not enough, there is also a bonus DVD of the concert for fans, which is included with the album. This is a magnificent highlight for lovers of great jazz music, like it doesn't happen every day.
