Description
In the extremely exciting Hans Rosbaud edition by the SWR, further surprises from the archive appear: Not only is it astonishing once again to experience the ultra-modern Rosbaud conducting music from the German Romantic era, but it is also very exciting to see who stood by the conductor: With Robert Casadesus, one of the most important pianists of the 20th century, Weber's little-known F minor concert piece is performed, and with Yvonne Loriod, Olivier Messiaen's later wife, an icon of the musical avant-garde, Mendelssohn's Capriccio brillante can be heard brilliantly. What exciting discoveries!
