Music for My Love Vol. 1

This is the story of Toccata label founder Martin Anderson and his fiancée Yodit Tekle, who was diagnosed with cancer as a young mother. Deeply distressed, Martin Anderson asked a friend, a composer, to write music for his fiancée, initially to help her cope better with the illness. Soon, however, it became clear that the young woman was terminally ill. She died in April 2015. Anderson commissioned a concert in Yodit's honor and asked several composers to write music for it. He had not expected to receive more than 100 musical expressions of condolence from creators from around the world. This is the moving prelude to an entire CD series that presents this very music.
