This Blu-ray box contains legendary concerts from 1977–1990 featuring Leonard Bernstein with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Orchestre National de France, and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. The program includes much of Bernstein's core repertoire: symphonies by Sibelius, Haydn, Berlioz, and Roussel, as well as Ludwig van Beethoven's famous orchestral arrangement of String Quartet No. 16, Op. 135. It also includes the "Centennial Celebration Concert" at Tanglewood with John Williams, Yo-Yo Ma, Andris Nelsons, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and many others performing works by Bernstein, Williams, Mahler, and Copland.
