Instrumental Soloists [Capriccio 40th Anniversary]

Capriccio celebrates its 40th anniversary with this retrospective of some of the most successful instrumental recordings from the back catalogue. The "line-up" of this compilation edition reads like a who's who of the Central European classical music scene of the last four decades: Ton Koopman, Tabea Zimmermann, Vladimir Spivakov, Tzimon Barto, Christine Schornsheim, Burkhard Glaetzner, Eckart Haupt, Reinhold Friedrich, the Petersen Quartet and the Linos Ensemble. The result is a generous and affordably priced collection of what has always been at the heart of this passionate, inquisitive label.
