Description

The pieces on this CD can be understood as subtle palimpsests in which new emotions resonate. The transcriptions gathered here depart from the original only where necessary to let its spirit emerge even more clearly—and to pay it respect. The greatest wish of all the musicians and creatives on this album is that these admirable works regain what they lose in original authenticity through the enthusiasm, devotion, and love that accompanied them throughout the entire project. For in this field, it is less about proving something than about truly experiencing it.
