Wolperting

Hares with wings, squirrels with duck bills, snakes with bird heads ... They are found in many places, these hybrid and mythical creatures whose origins have always remained uncertain: In the Swiss-French mountains they were called Dahu, Australian Aborigines observed the Bunyip, and in Bavaria and neighboring Austria there is the Wolpertinger. On their colorful musical map, the fabulous musicians of Federspiel have recently charted the fabulous town of Wolperting. This community in the fantastic somewhere becomes a musical world stage on its fifth album: It is teeming with supernatural We(i)sen. Mexican melodies resound, drinking songs are sung, and much more. Even devilish dancers appear! And a simple look out the window becomes a story that lasts a lifetime.
