Vivaldi: 13 Violin Concertos [Vivaldi 100]

"If you ask 100 people, you will learn 100 different things." The quantity of Antonio Vivaldi's compositions is correspondingly diverse and almost overwhelming. Talking about numbers in Vivaldi’s work is dizzying! 96 operas, dozens of cantatas and sacred works, over 600 instrumental pieces, including 230 violin concertos. One movement per day over a 40-year career... With this recording, Giuliano Carmignola reaches a milestone of 100 recorded violin concertos, for the first time in the history of sound recording! 13 new works reveal the incomparable affinity of the virtuoso from Treviso for this repertoire of inexhaustible charm.
