Verdi: La Traviata (Bregenz Festival 2026, Director: Michieletto)

For the 80th anniversary of the Bregenz Festival, Giuseppe Verdi's "La traviata" returns to the spectacular floating stage. Damiano Michieletto's production relocates the tragic story of Violetta, Alfredo, and Giorgio Germont to an impressive stage world set against the backdrop of Lake Constance. The lead roles feature Marjukka Tepponen as Violetta Valéry, Julien Behr as Alfredo Germont, and Vladimir Stoyanov as Giorgio Germont.

The Vienna Symphony Orchestra performs under the baton of Kirill Karabits, with the Bregenz Festival Choir. This live recording was made at the Bregenz Festival in July 2026.
