Description

Ten years after their acclaimed debut album for b•records featuring Schubert’s Winterreise, Nahuel di Pierro and Alphonse Cemin now present a significantly more intimate program born from the intersection of their respective musical interests. From Debussy's Trois Ballades de François Villon to the Cuatro Canciones Porteñas by Piazzolla and Borges, they bridge the musical heritage of France and Argentina. In doing so, they bring the marginal figures of Buenos Aires to the center stage—those characters who shape the ethos of tango and milonga—and pair them with Ravel's musical interpretation of Don Quixote. An epic journey across genres and continents, crafted by two performers who passionately serve sung poetry.
