Soul - Much - More

Since his breakthrough at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with “Can’t Wait Until Tonight,” Max Mutzke has been considered one of the most versatile voices in the German music scene. Whether soul, funk, pop, or jazz – Mutzke moves effortlessly between genres while always remaining authentic. With his new album “Soul | Viel | Mehr,” he takes his artistry to a new level. Together with the award-winning SWR Big Band, he presents a work full of energy, emotion, and musical sophistication. The opulent arrangements give new radiance to Mutzke’s own songs like “Welt hinter Glas” and “Marie” and make classics shine in a new light. Following the initial CD release in November 2025, which sold out within a few weeks and after several pressings, an exclusive selection of the tracks is now being released as a heavyweight LP.
