Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Four young lovers, faced with the prospect of an unhappy marriage or worse, flee from the court in Athens and stumble into an enchanted forest. Nearby, a group of amateur actors is rehearsing a play to celebrate an upcoming royal wedding. When the mortals encounter a feuding fairy king and queen, chaos reigns in nature. The boundaries between reality and illusion blur, and no one except the mischievous Puck knows what is real and what is magical.

Eleanor Rhode's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is both opulent and intimate, and brimming with magic.
