Recall, Recall

With "Recall, Recall," classically trained brass musicians and composers Aaron Messing and Anni Hochhalter present an album that is as imaginative as it is sonorous. Trumpet and horn form the starting point for a multi-layered sound world, expanded by vocals, guitar, drums, and finely nuanced percussion. Aaron Messing is a composer, arranger, producer, and trumpeter, while Anni Hochhalter is a founding member of the chamber ensemble WindSync and a horn player. Each piece unfolds its own musical world while blending seamlessly into the next—surprising, playful, and yet marked by a great sense of inner coherence. They are connected by the characteristic sound of the brass instruments and the distinctive voices of the two artists.
