Description

This legendary concert by Luciano Pavarotti was given in Hyde Park in 1991 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the greatest tenor of our time. Among the cheering 120,000 fans from around the world were Lady Diana, Prince Charles, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Michael Caine and Prime Minister John Major. Pavarotti delighted the audience with a varied program ranging from Verdi to Puccini (of course with “Nessun Dorma”), from Mascagni and Leoncavallo to Bixio (“Mamma”) and Di Capua (“O sole mio”). This spectacular concert has been digitally remastered and is now available on Blu-ray for the first time.
