Live at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg

Does the Elbphilharmonie and its acoustics live up to their promise? Can the red carpet be rolled out here for the greats of the swing era such as Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie or George Gershwin? How do Ella Fitzgerald's songs sound in the incomparable sound of the SWR Big Band there? The answer is: YES! Here you experience what unique architecture can do. You feel the positive energy and are carried by a sense of well-being. Because despite all its grandeur and impressiveness, the Elbphilharmonie gives us the feeling that it exists not for self-promotion, but only for this one purpose: to experience (swing) music directly! So far, every major production recorded in the Elbphilharmonie has been a contender for the charts, and so this title is also expected to have great success potential with the audience.
