This second 6-CD set, which contains numerous works that Leopold Stokowski performed live with the BBC in the final years of his life, documents his outstanding status as one of the truly great conductors of the 20th century. While the successful first installment contained titles that had been released previously, this second part includes eight new BBC recordings that have not been officially released before, as well as three CDs from the BBC Legends series, which have been remastered by Paul Baily to restore the sound Stokowski intended for his recordings.
