Description

Walter Jurmann firmly believed that his music would outlive him, but he was never interested in making his name famous. He was right, because his music continues to be reinterpreted by many artists, and young artists who are at home in both the classical repertoire and popular music are rediscovering that Jurmann's music bridges cultural and stylistic divides because it reflects fundamental human emotions. Born in Vienna, baritone Erwin Belakowitsch moves effortlessly between genres with his lyrical voice and interprets Jurmann classics such as "Veronika, der Lenz ist da", "Cosi Cosa", or "Mein Gorilla hat 'ne Villa im Zoo" on his second solo album.
