Description

Once upon a time, the "Goldberg Variations" were served up to the sleepless, today it is piano music by Gershwin, Cage, Crumb and other American composers. "Insomnia", that is five hymns to the night, composed over a period of almost 100 years. Kai Schumacher plays on various pianos: From the jazz piano with honky-tonk sound to the large concert grand. The artist had already caused a sensation in 2013 with surprising piano versions of grunge and heavy metal songs by bands like Nirvana or Slayer.
