Description

"I know that one day a miracle will happen," "You’re lucky with the ladies, Bel Ami!" or "I break the hearts of the proudest ladies" are some of those sound film hits still popular today, which – despite their misuse for propaganda purposes in the Nazi "hold-out" films – have survived as brilliant, timeless earworms from a difficult era. Over the course of its 70-year history, the Munich Radio Orchestra has repeatedly played these types of popular numbers in very different line-ups and arrangements. This album contains purely instrumental recordings, produced in the studio in October 2021.
