Description

With "Serenity Now," Swedish trombonist Karin Hammar presents a new album together with her Fab4. The core quartet includes Andreas Hourdakis (guitar), Pär-Ola Landin (bass), and Fredrik Rundqvist (drums). Karin Hammar Fab4 has been active both in Sweden and internationally since 2014, and has earned a firm place in the jazz scene with four highly acclaimed albums to date.

For "Serenity Now," the quartet is expanded by two international guests: Norwegian trumpeter and horn player Hildegunn Øiseth is featured on several tracks, while Estonian-Swedish pianist Britta Virves contributes on Fender Rhodes on two titles. The album was recorded in 2025 at Atlantis Studios in Stockholm. It is being released digitally, on CD, and on vinyl.
