Description

In anticipation of the upcoming Bruckner anniversary (2024), the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of Christian Thielemann are recording a complete symphony cycle (including the "No. 0") on video and audio for the first time. The fourth installment of this unique series features Bruckner's Symphony No. 3 in D minor (WAB 103) in the 1877 "Vienna version" and his Symphony No. 6 in A major (WAB 106) from 1881. The acclaimed concerts at the Vienna Musikverein, which are being released successively on DVD and Blu-ray, form a significant Bruckner cycle in a constantly growing discography.
