Description

Dutch conductor Bernard Haitink and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks enjoyed a long and intensive artistic collaboration, which was abruptly ended by his death in October 2021. This album brings together previously unreleased live recordings of Anton Bruckner’s "Te Deum" and Symphony No. 8. The "Te Deum" is one of the most significant large-scale choral works of its time and is considered a pinnacle of the composer's artistic output. The 8th Symphony is the last that Bruckner was able to complete in its entirety.
