Description

The young Quartet Integra, featuring violinists Kyoka Misawa and Rintaro Kikuno, violist Itsuki Yamamoto, and cellist Ye Un Park, dedicates itself to Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet No. 16 in F major, Op. 135. Composed in 1826, the work is Beethoven's final completed string quartet and marks the conclusion of his pioneering exploration of the genre.

Founded in Japan, Quartet Integra combines technical precision with a repertoire that spans from the Renaissance to the present day. Their development was shaped by collaboration with former members of the Tokyo String Quartet: first at the Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy and later at the Colburn School in Los Angeles. It was there, in Zipper Hall in April 2025, that this recording was made, now released as a 180-gram 45 RPM vinyl edition.
