Bach: Mass in B minor

Recorded in St. Lorenz Church in Nuremberg, this DVD of Bach's famous Mass in B minor offers the best not only musically, but also in terms of the visual splendor of the surroundings embracing the performers. With Concerto Köln, Peter Disjkstra and the Bavarian Radio Choir, the same musical forces have come together that already made BR-Klassik's St. John Passion a chart success last year. Furthermore, with Christina Landshamer, one of the most important young sopranos is in the cast, which makes this recording even more interesting.
