Description

The ballet Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland has been one of the most successful titles in the Opus Arte label’s catalogue since 2011. Now the fascinating production is presented in a new version, featuring (partially) new dancers – the current leading stars of the Royal Ballet – new sets and a composition that has even been partially revised, having been reworked by Joby Talbot specifically for the Royal Ballet to make the story of Alice in Wonderland even more impressive. Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon has also incorporated new ideas into his production, so that this “Wonderland transformation” creates a completely new ballet experience that is just as colourful and fascinating, but now responds even more strongly to the needs of the audience, making this ballet one of the most successful new ballets of the 21st century.
