{"product_id":"adaptations","title":"Adaptations","description":"\u003cdiv\u003e\n\n\n    \n    \u003cp\u003e\n        The album “Adaptions” is an extraordinary meeting of two potentially different musical worldviews and two critically acclaimed ensembles: the Nordic String Quartet and the improvising jazz trio The Firebirds. “Adaptations” consists of a series of musical transformations that began with a series of improvisations by The Firebirds, which were offered to several contemporary classical composers. These composers then selected which of the improvisations they wanted to use as inspiration for their own works for string quartet. After completing these quartets, The Firebirds in turn “re-responded,” drawing inspiration from the recordings of the individual works to create so-called “arrangements,” thus creating an
